In Time is about patience.
Not patience as a virtue, patience as a production decision. The tracks here evolve slowly. They earn their moments. Nothing peaks too early because nothing is in a rush. Thirty years of knowing when to wait has to show up somewhere, and In Time is where it shows up most clearly.
The Construction
Every track was built from a single loop or sequence and then extended, modified, layered, but never forced. When something wasn't ready to change, it didn't change. The album took the time it needed.
Temporal Architecture
The title is literal. These tracks are about what time does to sound, how repetition creates meaning, how small variations accumulate, how a rhythm that seems static is actually always moving.
