Vanishing is the album that disappears while you're listening to it.
Not in a bad way. In the way that certain music does, where you look up and realise twenty minutes have passed and you weren't aware of it. The sounds are there and then they're not. The rhythms suggest themselves and then pull back.
The Sound of Disappearing
This album started as an experiment with decay, with what happens to sound when you remove the sustain, when you let things end before the next thing starts. The spaces between sounds became as important as the sounds themselves.
Structure
Every track in Vanishing has a moment where it almost isn't there. A threshold. That's the architectural principle behind the whole record.
